Alak also interned at Clark, Gagliardi & Miller, White Plains, New York.  At Pace Law School, Alak received the Alumni Achievement Award, was named a Dean’s Scholar and was on the Dean’s List.  He served as the President of the Gaelic Society and the Treasurer of the Student Bar Association.  At Penn State, Alak was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship and was also on the Dean’s List.  Alak is a Member of MENSA and Phi Alpha Delta.

Biography: 
Mr. Knowles is an associate of the firm’s litigation practice. He regularly participates in the representation of individuals, businesses, and municipalities involving complex litigation proceedings in a variety of state, federal, administrative, and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Patrick has diverse litigation experience in both state and federal trial and appellate practice. He has advocated in courts throughout New York, and has successfully handled a variety of appeals before the Appellate Courts of New York State and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Patrick, a native of New York, graduated in 2014 from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Dean’s List, International Law Journal, and Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic. Prior to joining the firm as a summer associate in 2013, Patrick clerked for the Honorable Mr. Justice Daniel Herbert of the Irish High Court in Dublin, Ireland, and worked full-time in the New York County District Attorney’s Office.
