Medical Malpractice: $5.2 million:  The Firm recovered over $5.2 million in a medical malpractice case on behalf of a baby born with cerebral palsy.   We successfully advocated that the baby’s condition was caused by the malpractice of the hospital and doctor in failing to timely diagnose that the baby’s oxygen supply was restricted and failing to timely deliver the baby by Cesarian Section.

Construction Accident:  $4.0 million:   The Firm recovered $4.0 million for a painter who fell off a ladder while painting a single-family home in Westchester County and was rendered paraplegic.

Construction Accident:  $3.075 million.  The Firm recovered over $3 million for a man who was injured in an electrical arc-flash explosion while installing a new disconnect switch on a construction site in the Bronx.

Medical Malpractice:  $2.9 million: The Firm recovered $2.9 million on behalf of the family of a man who died as a result of a pulmonary embolism a day after visiting his cardiologist.  We successfully argued that the cardiologist was medically negligent in failing to recognize and treat the man’s symptoms.

Pedestrian Struck by Car:  $2.85 million:  The Firm recovered over $2.85 million for an 86 year old woman whose foot was run over by an ambulance while she was crossing the street near her home.

Sports Injury:  $2.06 million:  The Firm secured a recovery worth in excess of $2.06 million on behalf of a man who sustained a burst fracture of the L2 vertebrae when he was body-checked against the boards in a non-checking men’s league hockey game.

Medical Malpractice:  $1.4 million: The Firm recovered over $1.4 million for the family of a man who died the day after the surgical removal a lung tumor.  We successfully argued that the hospital staff misdiagnosed his symptoms and failed to timely recognize and treat the signs and symptoms of a post-surgical internal bleed.

Motor Vehicle Accident:  $1 million.  The Firm recovered $1 million (the maximum available) on behalf of the husband and family of woman killed in an accident involving a wrong way driver.

Trip and fall:  $850,000:  The Firm obtained a judgment for $850,000 on behalf of a man who ruptured his quadricep and underwent surgery as a result of tripping and falling on a small box that the defendants had delivered onto his front steps without his knowledge.

Motor Vehicle Accident:  $850,000.  The Firm recovered $850,000 for a woman who fractured her femur when a vehicle turned left in front of her while she was riding a motorized scooter.

Pedestrian Struck by Car:  $850,000.  The Firm recovered $850,000 for a business executive who fractured his elbows when the driver of a parked vehicle suddenly opened the vehicle door while the injured man was riding by on his bicycle in the designated bicycle lane in Brooklyn.

Construction Accident: $750,000:  The Firm recovered $750,000 for the family of a man who was killed when a trench in which he was working collapsed.  The recovery was made even though the defendant claimed it was the man’s employer and therefore was not liable pursuant to the NYS Workers’ Compensation Law.

Medical Malpractice:  $750,000:  The Firm recovered $750,000 for the family of a woman who died 17 days after a plastic surgeon performed liposuction and tummy tuck surgery.   We successfully argued that the physician failed to timely recognize and treat the signs and symptoms of a deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

Pedestrian Struck by Car:  $575,000.  The Firm recovered $575,000 for a man who was injured in a parking lot of a mechanical shop, when a worker accidentally backed a car up and ran over his foot.

Medical Malpractice:  $550,000:  The Firm recovered $550,000 for the family of a man who died of a heart attack two days before a scheduled cardiac catheterization.  We successfully argued that the man’s cardiologist was medically negligent in failing to timely diagnose and treat the man’s condition.

Medical Malpractice:  $500,000:  The Firm recovered $500,000 for a woman who suffered a MRSA infection in her abdomen for two years after undergoing abdominal surgery.
