Feerick Nugent MacCartney PLLC (South Nyack, NY) seeking NYS State admitted attorney with at least 3 to 4 years of experience. Candidates must have an interest in local government, municipal law and public employment labor law as well as municipal prosecution work in local justice courts (which would include the investigation of local ordinance/law violations; vehicle and traffic law violation; drafting accusatory instruments; motion practice; organizing and sharing discovery; negotiation of plea bargains; production of ex parte applications, i.e administrative search warrants; evidentiary hearings and trials) as well as related litigation, arbitration and other proceedings. 

The Attorney position is full-time and will require some evening work for attendance at municipal board meetings as well as justice courts where our firm handles prosecutions for municipalities we represent (Town and Village). Feerick Nugent MacCartney (South Nyack, NY) seeking a litigation attorney for associate position with at least 3-4 years of experience. Must be licensed in New York. Licensure in other jurisdictions is a plus. Candidate will primarily work in matters dealing with General Litigation, Land Use Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation in both State and Federal Court. The right candidate has familiarity with substantive motion practice, strong command of the rules of evidence, experience with drafting complaints, discovery responses, memorandum of law for motions, and has excellent research and writing skills.
